Ricardo Arevalo
FACTS Bridge Summer Fellow
Ricardo Arevalo is a first-year undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering at UC Merced. He joined the Water Systems and Management Lab in the Summer of 2021 as an intern. Ricardo hopes to gain new knowledge that can be used for his future as he hopes to one day be able to help the disadvantaged and their surroundings. During Ricardo‘s past times he likes to spend time outdoors whether it is at the beach, in the mountains, or walking around his town. During his time in High School, he learned about many disasters that are going on in the ocean ecosystems and plans on one day helping improve our water sources including rivers, oceans, and lakes. His passion for the environment and helping those in need has led him to join this project and is more than eager to begin.
