Data viewers show data on land use, water use, and applied water per acre from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), gross revenue and total production value were calculated using USDA NASS County Ag Commisioners’ Data and adjusted for inflation using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) using the year 2021 as base year. Reported gross revenue is the product of yield and price of the largest produced crop within each DWR crop category in each year and county. Values are missing for water applied per acre for some crops but land use was reported for these cases applied water and gross revenue per water applied were included as zeros.
