Leigh Bernacchi
Program Director
Leigh Bernacchi is the CITRIS at UC Merced program director. She has researched the intersection of agriculture and water for several years. She joined UC Merced in 2015 and has worked with UC Water and the School of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M in wildlife and fisheries sciences and was a naturalist ranger at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park.
