Junior Specialist

Michael is a Junior Specialist working on the web application OpenAg. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Merced in 2024. Growing up in the Central Valley, he developed a deep passion for agriculture while working in crop fields during high school. Now, working for Professor Josue Medellín-Azuara, Michael is dedicated to using his technical expertise to create innovative solutions that support farmers, like those who helped him in his early years.
