We would like to extend a great welcome and introduction to two new students in the Water Systsems Management Lab for the duration of the 2024 Summer. We are very excited to host Luis Angel Acosta-Chavez from the Universidad Michoacana in Morelia, Michoacán, México and Regina Olalde Ruiz from Universidad de Las Américas Puebla, UDLAP, in Mexico City, Mexico. This summer, they will be studying and conducting research on topics within the scope of water management as well as participating in the courses, activities, and field trips that are offered by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center and the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship here at UC Merced. We share our excitement of their arrival and look forward to seeing all that they accomplish this summer and through the rest of their academic careers and lives.
